1.Book
Vouchers for Students Should be Abolished
Introduction:
·
BB1M-introduced by 5th Prime
Minister,Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak since 2011
·
For students pursuing tertiary
studies-buy reading material and stationaries
·
TS: Agree -Book voucher should be
abolished because students tend to misuse them, retailers take the advantage to
gain more profits, and government should allocate the money for more effective
project.
Point 1:
Students tend to misuse the book vouchers given to
them
·
EL: take for granted-buy unnecessary products-not
related to their studies
·
EL: against main objective of BB1M-to
reduce students financial burden
·
EG: use to buy external hard disks, earphones
·
EL: students sell or auction off-for
quick cash
·
EG: unscrupulous
individuals-exchange-lower amount of cash
·
C: Thus, books voucher should be
abolished because students tend to misuse the book vouchers to wrong ways.
Point 2:
Retailers take the advantage to gain more profits
·
EL: raise the price of goods
·
EL: students- no choice-vouchers only
acceptable in selected store
·
EG: some products-low quality-do not
worth the value
·
EL: students –are deceived-consumer’s
right deprived
·
EL: money is the root of evil-money
minded-grab the chance-play dirty
·
C: Therefore, the retailers for sure
will take advantage on student’s book voucher in order to gain more profit
because the use of the voucher is limited.
Point 3:
Budget for project BB1M should be allocated for more
effective projects
·
EL: according to PM-allocated RM 325
million-to benefit 1.3 million of tertiary students
·
EL: budget derived from public funds-as
tax payers-undoubtedly do not want it to benefit some unimportant ones.
·
EL: large amount of money-spend to care
for the welfare-underprivileged
·
EG: build low cost houses-upgrade
hospital facilities-free meals for impoverished children
·
C:Thus,beside the giving the book
vouchers for student, the money should be used for needy in the country in order to help them to gain
more better life.
Conclusion:
·
Restate TS
·
More disadvantage than advantage-should
be terminated
