INTRODUCTION:
Health is wealth- for a long healthy life – free from ailments and diseases.
Ways to maintain good health – exercising, practicing balanced diet and having proper stress management.

1 EXERCISE

-          a doorway to good health
-          burn extra calories – keep fit
-          improves blood circulation- breathing rate increases – get sufficient oxygen
-          lower sugar and cholesterol level
-          exercise at least twice a week – with friends
-          research from Univ of Leicester, UK suggests that sitting for long period will double death risk.
-          Get rid of sedentary lifestyle – start exercise today to stay healthy longer.

2. BALANCED DIET

     -     maintain good health
     -     consists of 7 classes of food in correct proportion
     -     carbohydrates – acquire sufficient amount of energy for daily activities
     -     protein for cells repair and development
     -     fibre can prevent constipation
     -     drink adequate amount of water to prevent dehydration
     -     vitamins and minerals can be obtained from fruits and vegetables.
     -    avoid oily food to reduce risk to suffer from chronic diseases such as  
           hypertension and obesity.
     -     prevention is better than cure.

3. STRESS MANAGEMENT

-          stress can take a toll on physical and mental health – increase case of blood pressure and heartbeat.
-          Learn to express feelings
-          Do not bottle up feelings.
-          Share thoughts with friends or family members
-          Talk to a counselor or doctor.
-          Take some time off to engage in relaxing activities – listening to music
-          Practice proper stress management to reduce detrimental effects on our health.

CONCLUSION

     Ways to maintain good health – exercising, practicing balanced diet and having proper
     Stress management. – once it is neglected, it will never come back.

INTRODUCTION

Teenagers like to involve in sports – energetic and young – both outdoor and indoor activities. 
Sports – stay fit and healthy, improve self-esteem and learn how to socialize.

1.      STAY FIT AND HEALTHY

-          teenagers – need to stay fit and healthy – improve teenage personality.
-          Exercise – improves cardiovascular fitness and control weight.
-          Reduces body fat and strengthen bones.
-          Improve balance, flexibility and endurance.
-          Reduces the risk of injury and helps recover faster
-          Improves mood
-          Involvement in sports – make us fit and healthy.

2.      BOOST SELF-ESTEEM

-          develop a positive self-image – increase circle of friends
-          reduce behavioural and emotional disorders.-released while playing.
-          Enable individuals to feel motivated, confident showing their ability.
-          Winning the game – achievement – boost self image.

3.      LEARN HOW TO SOCIALIZE

-          learn to handle stress and pressure, set goals and work hard
-          have a lot of opportunities to meet others and develop social and interpersonal skills.
-          Build close relationship with coaches and peers.
-          Learn to co-operate, share ideas and build teamwork.
-          Accept losing and enjoy winning.
-          Learn how to mingle and socialize with others.

CONCLUSION

  Sports are vital in helping teenagers to keep fit, build self-esteem and learn how to socialize.
We do not stop playing because we grow old, but we grow old because we stop playing.





  1. WAYS TO OVERCOME FAILURE IN LIFE

INTRODUCTION.

 People dread the word “ fail “ – the end of the world – but it is not.
Fail first before reach success – fall but bounce and try harder .
How to overcome – think positively, learn from past experience, and never give up.

  1. THINK POSITIVELY.

-          never feel sad – accept it and move on.
-          Give some space for oneself – gain a new spirit to get back on track.
-          Motivation – plan new strategies – read about others’ success.
-          Try again – never fear of fail – step to more success.
-          Zig Zaglar – failure is a detour not a dead-end street.
-          Think positive –whatever happens must have a reason –

  1. LEARN FROM PAST EXPERIENCE

-          recall what makes one fail- maybe there is no strategies, no planning, no objectives.
-          Make checklist of things to rectify
-          Seek help from those who can offer assistance
-          Never wallow in self-pity. – actually it is the best teacher.
-          Past failure is a stepping stone to more success.

  1. NEVER GIVE UP

-          Once failed – does not mean failure forever.
-          Take more continuous steps until you reach the target
-          Never stop because of first hurdle
